1. Acceptance

2. Who this site is for

4. Our calculators produce estimates

The calculators on this site are illustrative models. They compute results from the figures you enter, using standard formulas and simplifying assumptions that are described in the guide on each tool page. They are not quotes, offers, approvals, promises, or predictions.

In particular:

• Results depend entirely on the figures and assumptions you supply. Inaccurate inputs produce inaccurate outputs, and we cannot check your inputs.
• Investment projections assume a constant rate of return. Real returns vary, can be negative, and past performance does not indicate future results. No projection here is a forecast of what you will have.
• Loan and repayment figures do not include fees, taxes, insurance, escrow, or charges a lender may apply, and real lenders round differently. Your actual figures will differ.
• We model no tax treatment. Tax rules differ by country, by account, and by individual, and they change.
• Exchange rates shown are published mid-market reference rates. They are not a price available to you, and no provider is obliged to offer them.
• Rules genuinely differ between countries. The currency selector changes how figures are displayed and does not change any calculation or reflect any national rule.

Verify anything material with the relevant lender, provider, or a qualified professional before relying on it. Do not treat a figure produced here as a decision.

5. Availability and accuracy

The site and its tools are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any content or calculation is accurate, complete, or current. Rates, limits, fees, and rules referred to in our articles change, and articles state the date their figures applied.

6. Advertising

This site is supported by advertising served by Google. Advertisers do not review, approve, or influence our articles, and we do not accept payment for favourable coverage of any financial product. We do not publish affiliate links or receive commission on products you may go on to buy. Advertisements are not endorsements, and any dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. The articles, artwork, and software on this site are ours and are protected by copyright. Third-party names and marks referred to in articles belong to their owners and are used only to identify what is being discussed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site, its articles, or its calculators. This includes lost profits, lost savings, investment losses, borrowing costs, or any indirect or consequential loss, whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. 10. Acceptable use
